Thomson Reuters Checkpoint Edge - online tax research subscription access

This notice of intent is to award a sole source purchase order Thomson Reuters (Tax & Accounting) Inc., 2395 Midway Road, Carrolton, Texas 75006-2521. Thomson Reuters will provide electronic subscription access to the Thomson Reuters Checkpoint Edge online tax research platform for 350 employees of Internal Revenue Service, Office of Chief Counsel. Under authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii).

Thomas Reuters is a large business under NAICS 519290. The Period of Performance is anticipated to be: 09/30/2024 through 09/29/2026. The Thomson Reuters Checkpoint Edge electronic subscription platform provides a comprehensive access to federal state and international tax research content, plus expert commentary and in-depth analysis.

Thomson Reuters Checkpoint Edge provides essential research tools, access to quality legal research materials for conducting comprehensive legal research, as well as, charts, pictures, graphs, mathematical/accounting formulas. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals or quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals or quotations received in response to this notice.

This requirement will be procured as Firm Fixed Price in accordance with FAR 13.5 procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1. Point of contact for this acquisition is tracey.n.brooks@irs.gov.
