AF 1067 was signed in 2015 confirming the need for a replacement to the Air Launch Cruise Missile's (ALCM) Imppact Sensor, also know as the Fuze Assembly. The Fuze Assembly has three seperate sensors located at strategic points within the ALCM. These sensors provide an output signal to the Warhead Arming Device. Mechanically, the Fuze assembly is a G-force operated switch. the effort will be a follow on contract to produce the required Fuzes needed to sustain ALCM past 2030.
