The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service, Greater Southwest Region 7, Acquisition Management Division, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the modernization of three (3) existing passenger elevators, and one (1) service elevator at the John M. Shaw U.S. Courthouse, 800 Lafayette Street, Lafayette, Louisiana 70501. This project will include 2 options of the following:
Option 1: Modernization of two (2) USMS passenger elevators, and Option 2: Modernization of two (2) U.S. Judges passenger elevatorss. The procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. The estimated construction cost magnitude for all work under this project is between $1,000,000 and 5,000,000. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238290 Other Building Equipment, with a size standard of $22 million.
All responsible, qualified forms are encouraged to submit a proposal. The source seletcion process and criteria will be based on the Best Value trade-off methodology. A site visit will be conducted on May 16, 2024, at 10:30AM CST (local time). Details pertaining to the site visit are enclosed in the solicitation.
Note: this will be the only site visit scheduled. No additional site visits will be scheduled. Interested firms are encouraged to attend the site visit. The solicitation closing date will be June 11, 2024, at 4:00PM CST (local time). The solicitation and all other information, amendments and questions concerning the forthcoming solicitation will be electronically posted at the following web page: https://sam.gov/ (contract opportunities). No telephone requests for documents will be accepted.
This solicitation is not a Sealed Bid and there will not be a formal public bid opening. All questions/inquiries or requests for clarifications must be in writing, prferable via email to the persons specified in the solicitation. All answers will be provided in writing and will be posted as an amendment to the solicitation posting. Interested firms must be registered and have completed their online representations and certifications in the System For Award Management (SAM). Firms can register via the internet site at https://www.sam.gov/SAM/ or by contacting the SAM Service Desk at https://www.fsd.gov.
