Presolicitation Notice Masonry Repairs, Melvin Price Federal Building and USCH 750 Missouri Ave., East St. Louis, IL 62201 The following work will be performed at the Melvin Price Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse, located at 750 Missouri Ave., East St. Louis, IL 62201. The project includes, but is not limited to, the following work: -Restoration of granite, limestone, and brick masonry, including repointing of mortar, removal and replacement of deteriorated sealants, and repair of spalled granite. -Rebuilding misaligned limestone parapets and repairing broken caps at the northwest corner of the parapet. -Cementitious patch repairs in limestone and re-securing of limestone jambs at area wells. -Cleaning of bird fouling and other related masonry restoration work as indicated in the drawings.
The estimated price range for all work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238140 with a size standard of $19 million. This is a negotiated procurement, therefore, a public bid opening will not be held. The solicitation will be available on or about February 17, 2025. This solicitation will be a Total Small Business set-aside in accordance with FAR Part 19. The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing the SAM.gov website.
