Sasabe LPOE Paint Secondary Canopy

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS POSTED IN THE GOVERNMENTWIDE POINT OF ENTRY IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR 12.201-1(c)(2) [GSA Class Deviation RFO-2025-12] The General Service Administration (GSA) announces a proposed contract action for the award of a firm-fixed-price commercial construction contract located in Sasabe, AZ This acquisition will be conducted using FAR Part 12 [GSA Class Deviation RFO-2025-12], Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, in conjunction with the simplified procedures at FAR 12.201?1 [GSA Class Deviation RFO-2025-12].

In accordance with FAR 12.201?1(c)(2) [GSA Class Deviation RFO-2025-12], quotations will be solicited directly from at least three sources. This pre?solicitation notice is posted in the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE) to promote competition to the maximum extent practicable. Sasabe LPOE has a requirement to refurbish the secondary and headhouse canopy.

The project primarily involves prep and paint components of the canopy but includes a construction component to repair drainage structure and remove/replace bird netting. The proposed project is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238320 - Painting and Wall Covering Contractors. The anticipated award date is July 1, 2026. This construction effort magnitude is under the Simplified Acquistion Threshold ($350,000).

This acquisition is being conducted under FAR Part 12 [GSA Class Deviation RFO-2025-12] for Commercial Services and is set aside 100 percent for small business. You must be registered in www.sam.gov as a small business (see FAR provision 52.219-1 [GSA Class Deviation RFO-2025-12] in the Representations & Certifications section of your www.sam.gov registration). GSAM 552.243-71 EQUITABLE ADJUSTMENTS (MAR 2019) will be included in RFQ
