Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The 30th Contracting Squadron, Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA 93437, intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed-price contract to Conductix-Wampfler USA. The action will be executed in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, and 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Soliciting from a single source not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. See attached redacted Sole Source Justification for additional details. The requirement is to provide the following:

Qty of 3: REEL PR PGFP-E-E04 S 50FT 6/4. Part Number XA-243060405021. Each one should be pre-loaded with 50ft. of 6AWG 4C type W cable. Items must also be equipped with locking pins to prevent unexpected retraction of cable. This notice of intent is NOT a request for quote or proposal.

However, interested parties may submit a quote in conformance with the attached salient characteristics via email to kristofer.clark@spaceforce.mil with a copy to aaron.morse@spaceforce.mil no later than 13 March 2024 at 12:00PM Pacific Time. Any costs incurred in submitting a capabilities statement will not reimbursed by the Government. Additionally, the information received will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct the procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
