Notice of Intent (NOI) to Sole Source for Repair of Collapsed Sewer Line at Fort Hunter Liggett, CA

USACE - Louisville District intends to award a sole source out-of-scope contract modification to Peter Vanderr Werff Construction, Inc. under Contract Number W912QR20C0059 for the repair of a collapsed sewer line between Buildings 208 and 230 at Fort Hunter Liggett, CA. This work is considered out-of-scope because it involves a quantity of additional cost greater than what was originally scoped in the base contract. This out-of-scope modification will be issued on a sole source basis.

This notice of intent is not considered a request for quotations or competitive proposals. This is a written notice to inform the public of the Government's intent to proceed with a sole source modification to Peter Vanderr Werff Construction, Inc. under Contract W912QR20C0059. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the direction of the Government. Information received in response to this synopsis will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should be emailed to the Government point of contact for this acquisition at Bonny.C.Dylewski@usace.army.mil no later than (NLT) 29 April 2024 at 12:00 PM Eastern Time (ET) to be considered. Responses should include:

1) Company name, address, Unique Identifier Number, and point of contact name of email address.

2) Identify business size (i.e., Small Business, Other Than Small Business, etc.) in accordance with the size standard for NAICS Code 236220.

3) Detailed information that will demonstrate that your business has the capability to provide above services.
