Replace and Install 06 Hazmat Locker Systems at US Coast Guard Sector San Diego: 2710 North Harbor Drive San Diego CA 92101 Industry Day Site Visit will be held: Friday, September 12th @0900 Please contact Kyle Kagami, Facilities Engineer Cell: (832) 293-5117 for visitor passes Replacement of the (6) dry chemical hazmat locker systems. Current systems are no longer supported and have multiple deficiencies. Remove the system release, cylinder, supply line, nozzle, pull station and pressure switch at each hazmat room. Install Pyrochem MONARCH dry chemical system components at each hazmat room:

1. MCH3 mechanical release and CO2 actuation cartridge w/MB-2 mounting bracket.

2. PCL-17ABC cylinder w/MB-15 mounting bracket.

3. Explosion proof pressure switch.

4. 3/4" galvanized supply line pipe and a NV-ABC nozzle.

5. RPS-M remote pull station.

6. Update existing mechanical detection. All necessary Bracketing and Supports per the Monarch Manual.

Qualifications: Devices such as contactors, shunt trips, solenoids, fans, relays, controls, power, line voltage or building fire alarm tie-in if applicable is by others. Wiring from Monarch micro switches to said devices by others.

Add: for one (1) suppression plan and NICET III stamp comprised of all six (6) systems. Individual suppression plans for each system to incur additional charges. Permit/plan review fees if assessed to be reimbursed at cost.

Add: per system for explosion proof pressure switches, in lieu of micro switches, for electrical interlocks. Installation to be performed during normal business hours 7am-3:30pm. Electrical connection safe-off and reconnection by others. There are existing penetrations in the cabinets housing the suppression systems. Sealing of the penetration's by others. Services to be completed [Industrial/Dry Chemical Suppression] Location - Building DEFICIENCIES (SYSTEMS ARE NO LONGER SUPPORTED, DUE TO THE TYPE AND QUANTITY OF DEFICINCIES, REPLACEMENT MATERIAL IS NOT AVAILABLE TO CERTIFY SYSTEMS. PROPOSED RESOLUTION IS REPLACEMENT OF SYSTEMS WITH A PRODUCT LINE CURRENTLY SUPPORTED)
