This request for Information (RFI) is being issued solely for a Warehouse Modernization Services Industry Day(s) and does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ). This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for services. Furthermore, the U.S. Government is not seeking quotes at this time and will not accept unsolicited quotes in response to this special notice. All information received in response to this RFI, that is marked as proprietary, will be handled accordingly.
Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI and/or attending the Industry Day(s). Submittals will not be returned to the responder. The Industry Day(s) have been scheduled for June 5 and a possible overflow/second day for June 6 at the Denver Logistics Center, Golden Colorado. The exact address and daily schedule will be provided after receipt of all participants.
The VA seeks qualified vendors to prepare possible solutions that meet the Government s objectives outlined in the attached draft Statement of Objectives (SOO). In order to quality vendors must be a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Only certified vendors listed in the Small Business Administration (SBA) certification (https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/) database will be allowed to attend this Industry Day. Registration and screening for this Industry Day is required.
Please send the following information to the Contract Specialist, Erik Boehmke, erik.boehmke@va.gov and the Contracting Officer, Regina M. Rockwood, regina.rockwood@va.gov by May 24, 2024, 4:30 pm CST. Company Name and Contact Information Company Business Size for NAICS Code 541614 Current General Supply Administration (GSA) or Federal Supply Schedule Contract (FSS) Each company will be given a time slot to present at the Industry Day.
There will be a minimum of 15 minutes to present, and the Government may extend a longer time. This notice is considered a synopsis as required by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.201. The Government may make an award(s) determination off oral presentations provided at the Industry Day(s) in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(c) but will reserve the right to issue a written RFQ and make an award(s) determination at a later time.
The Government will consider capabilities presented at the Industry Day(s), the contractor s past performance record, and relevant past performance before making any award determinations. Additional event details (agenda, presentation times, specific venue information, etc.) will be sent directly to all companies who register for this Industry Day. The VA appreciates industry s collaboration and is looking forward to a meaningful and very productive session.
