A material handler non-personnel services contract is required to manage and execute efficient and effective receiving, storage, inventory, packaging, care of supplies in storage, stock control, stock selection, issue processing, packing, shipping and distribution of DLS commodities and products. This SDVOSB Sole Source award is IAW FAR 6.302-5: Authorized or required by statute, 38 USC 8127 (c).

The current Material Handler contract, a total SDVOSB set aside will expire on 31 December 2025 and the new national material handler contract is delayed from being awarded due to protest. This short-term bridge contract is urgently needed to prevent interruption of mission critical order processing for veteran patients of the DLS.
