The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with Bitcentral, Inc., 4340 Von Karman Ave, Ste 410, Newport Beach, CA 92660 to provide all resources and materials necessary to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), through the Institute for Education, Learning and Development (ILEAD), for software and equipment and system maintenance support level agreement of its existing Bitcentral Automated System equipment.

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Institute for Education, Learning and Development (ILEAD) provides educational services and instruments to VHA. One of the instruments ILEAD uses is the Bitcentral Broadcast Automation System for the VA Knowledge Network (VAKN). This system requires periodic hardware and software maintenance.

This support level agreement (SLA) will allow ILEAD staff to obtainable via telephone, email, and/or remote access to the air gapped network that the Bitcentral Automation System is located on. Although there are resellers of Bitcentral equipment, Bitcentral, Inc. is the only vendor authorized to provide this support directly to the end users. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541519 and the Small Business Administration Size Standard is $34.0M. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.

No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
