KNAPP ATD Cannister Order Site 763 Intent to Sole Source Notice

PURPOSE: SPECIAL NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT'S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD.

This Notice is to announce that the Department of Veteran Affairs, Dallas Consolidated Mail-Out Phamacy(CMOP) located in Lancaster Tx. is proposing to negotiate a contract IAW 41 U.S.Code 1901 implemented by FAR 13.1061(b)(2) with KNAPP Inc., a Large Business on a sole source basis for the purchase of 100 each spare dispensing canisters to be used on the Tablet Capsule Automated (TCA) system manufactured by KNAPP Inc. The spares are needed to provide backup supplies for dispensing operations on the TCA.

This is not a request for quotes and any interested party may notify the network contracting office (NCO) 15, via email to larry.zaritz@va.gov to express their ability to provide similar products for future needs as the needs arise.
