This is a Notice of Intent published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information regarding proposed contract actions. This Notice of Intent is for a proposed award of a sole source firm fixed price contract to the following contractor in support of Generator Maintenance & Load Banking Testing Services in support of St. Cloud VA Medical Center, 4801 Veterans Drive, St. Cloud, MN 56303-2099:

Ziegler Inc UEI: CKP8AV3FURJ9 901 W 94th St Minneapolis, MN 55420 This is done under authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1: Only one source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is not a request for competitive quotes. Market research revealed that Ziegler Inc is the only Cat dealer with approved business locations in the Service Territory which includes the location of the St. Cloud VA Medical Center, 4801 Veterans Drive, St. Cloud, MN 56303-2099.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this service is 811210 (Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance) and the Product Service Code (PSC) is J049 (Maint/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment Maintenance and Repair Shop Equipment).
