The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 23 intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b) - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Service Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, to IS Healthcare, LLC. Contractor shall provide all equipment, accessories, and installation services for a mobile MRI system at the Central Iowa Medical Center. The period of performance shall be for 8/12/2024 through 12/12/2024.

This is a brand specific procurement for a Siemens Magnetom Aera 1.5T system. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement no later than May 24, 2024, at 17:00 CST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services.

A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Announcement, Notice of Intent.
