Narcotic Disposal Services

NARCOTIC DISPOSAL SERVICES This is a sources sought notice only and is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified, potential contractors and their socio-economic size classification in accordance with NAICS code 562211 Hazardous Waste Treatment and Disposal. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After a review of the responses to this sources sought notice, a solicitation announcement may be posted.

A response to this sources sought notice is not adequate, contractors must reply to a potentially forthcoming solicitation. The Sioux Falls VA Health Care System, located at 2501 W. 22nd St. Sioux Falls, SD 57015, is seeking qualified potential contractors to provide narcotic waste disposal services.

The contractor shall be responsible for the proper removal, transportation, and disposal of approximately 34 1.25-gram packets and 23 2.5-gram packets of Androgel, not to exceed 100 total packets, from the Sioux Falls VA Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD To respond to this sources sought notice, please complete the attached form titled Response Form to Sources Sought Notice and email the information requested to Chelsea Henize Himes, Contract Specialist, at Chelsea.henizehimes@va.gov.

The closing date and time of this sources sought notice is March 22nd at 10:00 am Central Time. This is not a solicitation and in no way obligates the government to award any contract. Additionally, a response to this sources sought notice is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of any forthcoming solicitation.
