Pre-Solicitation Description Synopsis: Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO22, Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System, Radiation Physicist Services. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO 22), Tucson, AZ on behalf of the Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System intends to solicit for a base plus four-year contract for Radiation Physicist Services for the Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System located at 3601 S. 6th Street Tucson, AZ.

This pre-solicitation announcement publicizes the Department of Veterans Affairs intent to solicit the Radiation Physicist Services. A Firm-Fixed price contract is anticipated to be awarded. The VA anticipates issuing a small business set-aside solicitation for this requirement. When available, the solicitation will be available for download at http://www.SAM.gov Contract Opportunities website.

Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide instructions to offerors about the quote submission process. Prospective Offeror(s) are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the SAM.gov website so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments.

Quotes will be evaluated for award after the solicitation has closed. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database under the applicable NAICS Code. Firms may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in SAM. Registration is free and potential offerors are encouraged to visit the SAM website and register as soon as possible.

The applicable NAICS Code is 541990, All Other Professional, Scientific and Technical Services, with a small business size standard of $15.0 million. The Product Service Classification (PSC) code is R799, Support Management Other. This requirement will be solicited on a competitive basis. A single firm-fixed price contract will be awarded, which will be made commensurate with the needs of the Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System in Tucson, Arizona. Responsible sources may submit proposal.
