The FSC/PSC is H345. The Department of Veterans Affairs Northern Arizona VA Healthcare System (NAVAHCS) has a requirement for Inspection of Boilers and associated equipment.

The VHA Directive 1810, BOILER AND BOILER PLANT OPERATIONS, assigns “useful life expectancy”, in years, to the boilers and plant equipment. The Directive requires that retention of certain equipment beyond the “useful life expectancy” must be based on an engineering evaluation of the reliability, efficiency and cost effectiveness of continued operation. The services shall comply with this Statement of Work (SOW), all VA, local, state, and Federal policies, and regulations.
