MFP Lease Bridge Contract Four Points-Supply Chain Management

Notice of Intent to Sole Source Six (6) month lease of Multifunctional Printers This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.101 requiring dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract to SDVOSB firm and is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals.

The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is prescribed by VAAR 819.7008 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 22 (NCO 22) intends to issue a six (6) month; firm fixed prices; sole source award contract to the incumbent Cynergy Professional Systems (SDVOSB) to bridge the gap in services while the Government solicits a base plus four (4) year contract.

However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement demonstrating the ability to provide the requested services, which shall be considered by the agency before the intended award date. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. No requests for capability briefings will be honored.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested vendors must respond to this notice on or before July 22, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. PST by sending an email to Edgar.Alvizar@va.gov.

541519 BACKGROUND: Current lease of Multi-functional Printers (MFP) with Maintenance Services and copier/printer Supplies will expire 07-31-2024 and there are no more options available to extend services. The continuation of services under this SDVOSB sole source is to take place while the Government a new five (5) multiple year contract no later than 01-31-2025.

SCOPE: Software, hardware, and maintenance component to support the printing, copying, faxing, and scanning needs at various locations within VA Long Beach Health Care System.
