Purified Water System Sterile Processing Service

This is an INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOTICE to award a Firm Fixed Price contract with Evoqua Water Technologies. The proposed contract action is to preventative maintenance for the Sterile Processing Service Purified Water System. Evoqua Water Technologies will provide services to support continuous operations at the VA of Sierra Nevada Health Care System. This is an intent to sole source notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions.

This announcement constitutes the only notice of intent to sole source and synopsis of proposed action.

The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, intends to modify a sole-source contract under the authority of this non-competitive acquisition as implemented by 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) - FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to Evoqua Water Technologies. located at 111 47TH ST Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15201-2901 United States.

This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest with a full description how all elements in the attached statement of work will be fulfilled by emailing gary.christensen@va.gov no later than 13:00 PM Pacific Standard Time on 06/16/25. When responding to this announcement refer to 36C26125Q0621 in the subject line of the email. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Verbal and facsimile responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. All interested parties are reminded to be registered with System for Award Management (SAM) at https://sam.gov/SAM/ in order to be eligible for award of Government contracts. No telephone calls will be accepted. If after 06/16/25 at 13:00 PM PST, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, NCO 21 shall negotiate solely with Evoqua Water Technologies.

The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed Price contract. A determination by the Government whether to compete the proposed requirement shall be based upon responses received and is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition.
