Orion Rotary Chair and Audiology Static VR Vestibular

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), NCO 21 on behalf of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), San Francisco VA Medical Center, intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract to E3 Diagnostics on a sole source basis, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b) entitled, Soliciting from a single source. This action is based on the Original Equipment Manufacturer, Interacoustics, authorizing E3 Diagnostics as its sole USA distributor and service provider.

The required services and support are inextricably linked to existing Government-owned equipment, software integrations, and instructional systems that rely on E3 Diagnostics capabilities. No other vendor is authorized or technically capable of providing these integrated services.

The proposed action will procure Interacoustics' equipment to be integrated seamlessly with the pre-existing Audiology software and systems, which is vital for ensuring consistent and accurate diagnostic results and improving the care of Veterans. The scope of work for this requirement includes providing the VA with an Orion Reclining Rotary Chair with water and air irrigators and all associated equipment. Services provided will include installation, maintenance, and training.
