Intent to Sole Source: Pharmaceutical Compounding Hood/Room-Media Fill Testing-Fingertip Glove Testing for the VA Northern California Health Care System

The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 21, intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract, for a base year plus three option years, to M-BIOLABS, INC., for Pharmaceutical Compounding Hood/Room-Media Fill Testing-Fingertip Glove Testing for the VA Northern California Health Care System. We believe this is the only company in the area that has that can satisfy this requirement.

Due to the complexity and proprietary nature of the lab testing, we believe M-BIOLABS, INC., is the only small business who can provide the lab testing/certification services being requested. A draft of the Statement of Work (SOW) is attached. If you believe that your company is capable and certified to perform these services in accordance with the SOW, please provide your information and answer the questions below by responding to angela.gerlitzki@va.gov no later than February 9, 2024, by 10 a.m. PST.

The applicable NAICS Code is 541380 and the size standard is $19 Million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
