Page 2 of 2 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Anchorage (Alaska) VA Health Care System, intends to issue a solicitation for Legionella Water Testing Services. A detailed Statement of Work (SOW) will be included in the forthcoming solicitation, outlining the specific requirements and performance expectations. The solicitation is anticipated to result in the award of one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price contract with a base period of one (1) year and four (4) one-year option periods.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 541380 Testing Laboratories and Services, with a corresponding small business size standard of $19 million. This acquisition will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). This procurement is anticipated to be solicited, evaluated and awarded under FAR part 12 procedures. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
The Request for Quotation (RFQ) is expected to be published on or about October 15, 2025. Interested parties should review the solicitation in full for detailed submission requirements and evaluation criteria once released. This Pre-Solicitation Notice is not a request for quotes (RFQ), proposals, or offers. No contract will be awarded based on this announcement.
The purpose of this notice is to comply with FAR 5.201(b)(1) by publicizing the Government s intent to solicit and award a contract for the services described. The Government will not reimburse any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice.
