Department of Veterans Affairs, 260-Network Contract Office 20. All Other Miscellaneous Waste Management Services.

Awarded

Molecular Inc.

$32,000.00 obligated so far on USAspending

Description

As published on SAM.gov.

Q) 1. My question is regarding the 10-year warranty requirement.  I have only found one epoxy lining system stating the service temp. up to 200F and they do not have a 10-year warranty.  Their standard warranty is only 1 year. Will you accept an 10 year warranty that is backed by the contractor and does not have the manufacturers involvement in the extended warranty documentation?

Or is there a product that the owner is referring to that we would use "or equal" that you can list in the specifications that has a standard 10 year manufacturers warranty? We have a lot of experience using the Raven 405 Epoxy for these products but the manufacturer is unwilling to issue a 10-year warranty.  However, as a contractor, we have  completed dozens of successful projects that required a 10-year warranty, that are backed by the contractor as the coating applicator. 1. PPG Raven 405 was reviewed when developing SOW, however it is not mandatory to use this product. A typical 1-year warranty is acceptable.
