J045 Storm Water Cleanout, Seattle VA and American Lake VA THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following services:

Title: Storm Water Cleanout for Seattle VA and American Lake VA Summary of Tasks: The contractor shall clean and maintain stormwater management systems bi-annually, ensuring compliance with municipal regulations and environmental standards. The base year focuses on initial cleaning, with four option years for continued maintenance and service.

Requirement includes cleanout of catch basins (type 1 & 2), trench drains, oil-water separators, various filters, jet cleaning of all accessible downspout drain lines and conveyance lines, camera scoping and providing grout around conveyance pipes as necessary. At American Lake VA, replace 1 broken Catch Basin grate. Contractor shall protect bioswales and ponds from excessive disturbance during cleaning. Disposal of waste shall be included. Dispose of contaminated waste to an approved disposal facility. Contractor shall be required to provided status reports and yearly schedule.

NAICS Anticipated: 562998, All Other Miscellaneous Waste Management Services Type of Contract Anticipated:

FFP Period of Performance Anticipated: 6/15/2025 - 6/14/2030 (Base + 4 Option Years); additionally, 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services for an additional six (6) months is anticipated.

Notes: Depending on the results of market research and socioeconomic set-aside decision, the appropriate limitation to subcontracting may be incorporated into resulting solicitation/contract. Potential candidates having the capabilities necessary to provide the above stated services are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via e-mail to Danielle Carrico at danielle.carrico@va.gov no later than Friday, March 7th 2025 at 5PM PT.
