PhD level Statistical expert to complete data analyses of study data

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Portland Health Care System, Portland Oregon intends to award a sole source commercial purchase order to Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), 3181 SW Sam Jackson Park Road, Portland, OR 97239. This proposed action is for services with the OHSU Biostatistics & Design Program (BDP) to obtain quantitative data from a clinical trial. This will be a single year, firm-fixed price contract.

Period of Performance will be 08/15/2024 08/14/2025 The VA intends to procure this requirement on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.303-2 and FAR 13. This is not a request for competitive quotes and no solicitation will be issued; however any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 5 days from the date of the publication of this synopsis.

Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses are due by 08/06/2024 3:00pm MST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13. This notice document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-05 dated 05/22/2024.
