The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center in Walla Walla, WA has a requirement for a Contractor to provide Fire Safety Services. This will be awarded through a firm fixed price contract. Solicitation 36C26024Q0632 will be posted to SAM on or about 12 June 24. The Walla Walla Veterans Administration Medical Center (WWVAMC) maintains 25 buildings and a water tower on its campus as well as oversight of 3 leased clinics at a distance from the campus.

This contract seeks to consolidate fire system inspection, testing, repair/maintenance, and recordkeeping to maintain compliance with VA directives, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes, State and Federal requirements, and the Joint Commission (TJC) standards. It includes fire alarm, fire sprinkler, fire damper, fire hydrants and fire/smoke door components.

Place of Performance: All work under this contract is to be performed at the following locations: Walla Walla VA Medical Center, 77 Wainwright Dr, Walla Walla, WA 99362 Lewiston CBOC, 1630 23rd Avenue, Lewiston, ID 83501 La Grande CBOC, 202 12th Street, La Grande, OR 97850 Yakima CBOC, 1211 Ahtanum Ridge Dr. Union Gap, WA 98903 Period of Performance: The contract period base year will be Base Plus four (4) option years. The VA CBOC lease locations are subject to change, cancellation, and or termination.

At these locations the VA can cancel this contract with 30 days notice. Any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within the time frame listed on the solicitation. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements in the solicitation.
