The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 20, in support of the Portland Medical Center, Portland VA Healthcare System, Portland, OR is currently requesting information to determine the existence of viable sources capable of providing construction services.
Period of Performance: The intended contract period of performance is for 180 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed.
Description of Services: The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to update specialty clinic exam rooms by completely preparing site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures. All work will meet Scope of Work (SOW), drawings, and specification requirements as well as any applicable manufacturer s recommended installation procedures.
The update of specialty clinic exam rooms includes, but is not limited to, the following work: Demolition of existing first floor as identified in specifications and drawing within project limits Reconfigure first floor space as discussed in specifications and shown on drawings Installation of VA furnished items NAICS Code: 236220 Commercial and institutional building construction and the small business size standard is $45 million (January 2022 standards).
Responses: Responses to this request will be considered for the purpose of determining how the requirements will be stated and how the procurement will be conducted. This announcement is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or to award a contract. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this sources sought or any follow-up information requests.
