This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) White City VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics, located in White City, OR for market research purposes only to determine the availability of potential businesses with capabilities to provide the construction requirement described below. Interested parties are invited to provide feedback via email to Andrew Barrow.
Responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. All response are due by February 20 at 1530 Pacific Time. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238998 All Other Specialty Trade Contractors. The largest a company can be and still qualify as a small business for Federal Government programs is a size standard of $19 million.
If you believe a different NAICS code is more appropriate for the requirement, please indicate in your response. If your company is interested in the following requirement and is capable, please send a response and any questions you may have from industry such as suggested period of performance to Andrew Barrow by 1530 on February 20. Please no phone calls. Other than small businesses may respond to this notice for in the event that market does not indicate small business (SB) interest. The Government will not pay for information provided in response to this sources sought, and respondents will not be notified of the results of the sources sought.
NOTE: Do not include Proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information in responses. Responses to this request will be considered for the purpose of determining how the requirements will be stated and how the procurement will be conducted. This announcement is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or to award a contract.
No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. Not responding to this sources sought does not preclude participation in any future or potential solicitation. It is the intent of the VA to use the information gathered in response to this posting for market research purposes only, including determining if a set-aside is appropriate for this procurement. If a formal solicitation is released, it will be posted via Contracting Opportunities located on SAM.gov.
Description of Requirement: VA is looking to obtain information on companies who can provide construction services as summarized below at the facility referenced above. More details will be provided including any drawings, specifications, or other supporting documents if a solicitation is issued. The general scope of the project is to address parking lot weathering and improve driving conditions at the facility.
This may include removal of trees and roots causing damage, repair of cracks, resealing, repainting including traffic and parking markings, irrigation, and improving or adding wheelchair access features. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $500,000 to $1,000,000.
