Special Notice Special Notice Page 2 of 2 Special Notice Page 1 of 2 The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price Order with the large business GE Precision Healthcare LLC. The procurement is for a GE Ulrich CT syringeless injector, to include installation and technical user training.

The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334517. GE is the manufacturer of the CT and sole supplier of all services, installation, and training. Because the OEM does not have any authorized distributors for this requirement, this procurement is limited to one source. This order is placed against VA mandatory National Acquisition Center HTME Multi-award IDIQ contract. IAW FAR 16.505(b)(2)(D) Posting, if fair opportunity is not provided, then the justification must be posted.

This requirement is for: Department of Veterans Affairs Puget Sound VA Medical Center 1660 S Columbian Way Seattle, WA 98108 This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available.

Any responses received will only be considered for the purpose of determining the marketplace for future procurements. The Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government s intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
