PROCUREMENT TITLE:
AC3 Optimus Balloon Pump Services INTENT TO AWARD: The Department of Veterans Affairs (NCO 19), 6162 S. Willow Drive, Greenwood Village, CO 80111, intends to award one (1) purchase order on a sole source basis, to Teleflex, LLC., for AC3 Optimus Balloon Pump Services.
BACKGROUND AND DESCRIPTION: Salt Lake City VA Healthcare System (VASLCHCS) requires a service and parts agreement for four Teleflex AC3 Optimus Balloon Pumps. The current contract for VASLCHCS s Arrow Balloon Pumps is expiring. Balloon pumps have a device criticality of 21, which is the highest criticality level reserved only for life support equipment.
NAICS: 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. $34 Million.
PSC: J065 Maintenance, Repair and Rebuilding of Equipment Medical, Dental and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies.
AUTHORITY: This procurement will be issued under the authority of RFO Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed award upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
INTERESTED PARTIES: THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement as described in the attached Salient Characteristics no later than 12:00 PM Mountain Standard Time, Monday, August 24th, 2026. Information received in response to this notice must clearly demonstrate the capability of meeting the Government s need as stated above.
Include any relevant information (specifications, cut sheets, brochures, capability statement, etc.) confirming the ability to supply the products and/or any services outlined in this notice. Responses to this notice are to be sent to heather.chase2@va.gov. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government is not responsible for any potential costs incurred from interested parties desiring to respond to this notice.
