Deionized Water Equipment Rental Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK (This is for information only) PURPOSE Veterans Affairs has a requirement for Deionized Water Equipment services at the Oklahoma City VA Health Care System (OKCVAHCS). Services are to be performed in accordance with this PWS and to OEM standards, with the intent of ensuring the equipment operates as the original manufacturer intended, uninterrupted (95% uptime), in a cost-effective, efficient manner, contributing to the VA Mission.
TASKS AND REQUIREMENTS: Water Treatment The contractor shall provide treated water for the areas identified in the table at the quality defined for each location.

The contractor will ensure water quality is maintained throughout the period of performance. The contractor will bring and install equipment as required to provide quality water. If a mechanism other than resin bottles is used, the Contractor must provide specifications for the alternate system and must be approved by the COR before the system can be installed. No damage may be incurred to the walls, ceilings, or floors without appropriate COR authorization before installation. Any damage must be repaired by the Contractor in accordance with OKC VAHCS s requirements.

LIMITATIONS OF SUBCONTRACTING: The Limitations of Subcontracting may or may not apply to a resulting solicitation from this Market Research. Vendors are advised to familiarize themselves with Federal Acquisition Regulation parts 19.505(a)(2) and 19.505(b)(1) as it pertains to subcontracting limitations. Vendors are also advised to familiarize themselves with 13 CFR 125.6 and the penalties described in this regulation.
