VASLCHCS requires purchase of (3) barrier free exam tables for timely activation of our Emergency Department project. Product outlined in the Scope of Work shall be available for direct delivery to project site by February 10, 2025, to meet current activation schedule. All requested items must meet the specifications included herein this document to meet technical acceptance by requestor. See noted specifications below.
Specifications Specifications for the Exam Tables are designed to outline all the VASLCHCS Biomedical and Engineering requirements. These requirements will be provided to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) before final approval. The specifications are provided below:
Exam tables to have a clean assist roller system (built in caster system to move table. Active Sensing Technology (safety feature that will stop the table from moving if obstructed by provider or patient body part). Exam tables to have hand and foot control, and stirrups. Exam tables to have a minimum of weight capacity of 650lbs. Exam tables to have a minimum range of 15.5 (uncompressed) and 14.6 (compressed) low and raises up to 37 High.
Exam tables to have the dimensions of 28 w x 60 L. Exam tables to have a paper roll holder holds 24 x 3.56 dia paper roll. Exam tables to have electrical receptacles electrical draw 4A. Exam table to have tamper-resistant, hospital-grade, electrical receptacles on left and right sides. Exam table to meet or exceed ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1:2005+A2 (R2012) +A1.
Exam tables to meet or exceed CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 60601-1:14 Delivery Coordination Contractor shall coordinate deliveries in advance with the COR and Facility Warehouse.
Delivery will occur on an agreed day and time in advance with COR once a ship date is established. Normal business hours for acceptance of deliveries are 8:00am-3:30pm, Monday thru Friday excluding Federal Holidays. After-hours and Saturday delivery available.  The COR or Biomed Representative shall be the only VA entity signing for freight received on this requirement. All items included in the requirement shall be shipped and delivered to site at same time. If deliveries must be broken into several shipments due to size, this must be coordinated in advance with the COR. Failure the coordinate shipment with COR, may result in failure to deliver on site and cause re-scheduling of delivery/freight.
Contractor shall install and perform all recommended functional checks per the manufacturer. Serial numbers with room assignments will be provided to facility management personnel. All equipment will be wiped down and ready to use. The contractor will c complete a final walk-through inspection of equipment with COR or Biomed for final acceptance.Â
