Government Response: There is not a current contract in place but services were previously performed by Swallow Hill Music Association.

Question 2: If not brand new, could you please provide the current / previous contract number?

Government Response: The previous contract number was 36C25923P1163.

Question 3: How many hours per week is the Music Therapist expected to provide services?

Government Response: Services may require up to 10 hours a week, if all programs are on the same series schedule.

Question 4: What locations within the VA Eastern Colorado Healthcare System will the music therapy sessions be held?

Government Response: Sessions will be held at Life Skills Center, Spinal Cord Injury, INPT MH, Outpatient, Domiciliary.

Lakewood, CO 80227 Question 5: What instruments will be provided by the VA, and what equipment is the contractor expected to supply?

Government Response: VA has a limited supplies of Ukeleles, drums and guitars at Valor Point. Contractor will be required to provided additional guitars, ukeleles, drums, keyboard, sheet music, maracas, egg shakers, tambourines, violins, percussion instruments, tuning devices, extra strings for string instruments as needed, and the Certified Music therapist.

Question 6: How will the contractor's performance be monitored and evaluated by the Government?

Government Response: VA staff will be on site to monitor the sessions.

Question 7: What specific tasks are associated with supporting the National Veterans Creative Arts Festival?

Government Response: SOW sections 1.7 and 1.8 are hereby removed. National Veterans Creative Arts Festival occurred May 2024 and is unknown when it will occur again as it is not an annual event.
