The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in, and the resources to support this requirement for FIRE-SMOKE DOOR INSPECTION AND LABELING for the Rocky Mountain Regional Veterans Affairs Medical Center located at 1700 N. Wheeling Street, Aurora, CO 80045. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.
The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 541350 Building Inspection Services This is a request for information and sources only, which may or may not lead to a future solicitation! This is not a solicitation. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
Contractor shall provide all labor, parts, supplies and equipment necessary to perform Fire-Smoke Door Inspection and Labeling. This will be a multi-phased requirement. The exact period of performance is to be determined. Estimated performance start date is 6/24/2024. Requirements shall include but are not limited to the following:
1. Visual inspection and functional testing of swinging Fire/Smoke doors Campus-wide 2. Classroom Session & Hands on Training 3. Add opening identification stickers for UL Rated Assembly Campus-wide 4. Re-inspection and UL labeling Campus-wide The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, professional expertise, vehicles, tools, materials, services, equipment, and quality-control to perform tasks above.
Contractor shall inspect, test, calibrate and service the equipment, as required, in accordance with manufacturer, industry and statutory requirements to prevent premature equipment failures, maintain the integrity of and to extend equipment life in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW).
The Contractor shall also comply with the public laws and statutes including all changes and amendments of federal, state, and local environmental statutes and regulations in effect of date of issuance of this contract, including the applicable portions of the documents cited in the basic contract and below.
1. NFPA 101 Life Safety Code Latest edition 2. NFPA 80 Standard for Fire Doors and Other Opening Protectives latest edition 3. NFPA 70 National Electrical Code, latest edition BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION, and multiple awards MAY be made. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions.
