The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 17, intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract to Neurologica Corp., located at 14 Electronics Ave, Danvers, MA 01923. This contract will cover Preventative Maintenance and Repairs for VA-owned Samsung Digital Radiology (DR) equipment used in Radiology at the Texas Valley Coastal Bend Health Care System (TVCBHCS) in Harlingen.

Neurologica Corp. is the sole authorized provider for servicing and maintaining Samsung DR products, as all installations and repairs require personnel trained by Samsung Certified Training at the Training Institute in Danvers, MA. Service personnel must be either direct employees of Neurologica Corp. or under direct contract with the company. The statutory authority for this non-competitive procurement is 41 U.S.C.

3304(a)(1), implemented by FAR 6.302-1, which allows for sole-source procurement when only one responsible source can meet the agency s requirements. This notice is not a solicitation for proposals or quotations. However, interested parties may submit capability statements or proposals within ten days of this notice s publication to assess whether comparable sources exist.

If no affirmative responses are received, the contract will be awarded to Neurologica Corp. Notice: the POC for this notice does not have a Federal Business Opportunities registration account.
