Sources Sought Notice This notice is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered an invitation for bid, request for quotation, request for proposal, or as an obligation of the government to acquire any products or services. Responses to this notice will be used for informational purposes only. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs from the government will arise as a result from a response to this announcement. No contract will be awarded from this notice.

The information requested in this notice will be used to determine if there are sufficient socioeconomic small business concerns that are capable of performing the work described for the requirement.

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17 is seeking sources for the following procurement: Reference Lab Testing; Contractor shall provide laboratory services to the Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service of the VA North Texas Health Care System, Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, located at 4500 S. Lancaster Road, Dallas, Texas. Tests will be performed as prescribed by the VA attending physician. See Statement of Work.

BACKGROUND VA North Texas Health Care System Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Services (P&LMS) 4500 South Lancaster Road Dallas, TXÂ 75216 DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES Contractor shall provide laboratory services to include analysis, reporting of analytic results, and consultation regarding selection, collection, transportation, and result interpretation.

These procedures/tests shall be performed to the satisfaction of VA North Texas Health Care System (VANTHCS) Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service, Chief of Staff, and the Contracting Officer s Representative (COR). See Price/Cost Schedule within Statement of Work for lists of estimated testing needs. (Yearly quantities are estimates only). See attached Statement of Work for the performance requirements.
