Special Notice Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Procurement The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 17, intends to conduct a sole source modification action with Cardinal Health for the following item: 36C25724P0305. The proposed modification is to increase the quantity of line item 0001, Xofigo® (radium Ra 223 dichloride), from 1,059 to 2,014. The proposed modification will also extend the end of the delivery period from 11/30/2024 to 2/28/2025.

Bayer Healthcare LLC provided a sole source letter stating that Xofigo® can only be purchased through Cardinal Health NPHS. This notice is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. A contract will not be awarded based on an offer received in response to this notice. If no affirmative written response is received within 5 business days from the publication of this notice, the proposed modification request will be forwarded to Cardinal Health without any further notice.
