CTX Transport Utility Carts

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Integrated Service Network 17, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17 is seeking sources for the following procurement: Laundry Transport Utility Carts for the VA Medical Center in Waco, TX Description of Product: The contractor shall be responsible for providing forty (40) transport utility carts for the Central Texas Veterans Health Care Facility in Waco located at 4800 Memorial Drive, Building 226, Waco, Texas 76711. The contractor shall provide all personnel, services, vehicles, transportation, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, facility supervision, administration supervision and any other item(s) necessary to perform and accomplish the required task.

The contractor shall be familiar with all the terms, conditions, and requirement herein contained. All work must comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Product Salient Characteristics (a) Fiberglass Upright Delivery one piece solid construction with two removable/convertible shelves, two spring loaded chest pull handles, two (2) drain holes with plug for easy cleaning and draining (b) Size: 28"W X 54.5"L X 63"O.H.

(52" D) Weight, approximately 165 POUNDS (c) 6" X 2" (Precision Ball Bearing) TPR Wheels 6" casters, two (2) swivel & two (2) rigid, one step wheel lock top mount, foot activated wheel lock (parking brake) (d) Inside Color will be Gray Gel Coat (e) Outside Color will be Slate Blue (f) Product must comply with the Buy American Act and be manufactured in USA Period of Performance= After Receipt of Order (ARO+90). Work to be completed within 90 days after receipt of order.

Firms that can provide these products are encouraged to respond to the sources sought notice by contacting the point of contact. Capable firms must respond to the POC no later than 10 AM CT on July 8, 2024, to be considered.

Interested firms must identify their company name, SAM UEI number, socioeconomic category, and are asked to provide a capabilities statement with their response. This notice is NOT a formal request for quote or proposals. No formal solicitation document exists currently. The information in this notice is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the government. No contract will be awarded from this notice.

The acquisition strategy will be decided based on responses and other market research efforts. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or cost incurred in response to this announcement shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
