The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 17, located at Plaza LeCea, 5441 Babcock Rd. Ste 302 intends to add an additional line item to contract with Caredx Inc. (XDX Inc.), 3260 Bayshore Blvd., Brisbane, CA 94005 for AlloSure Heart® services on behalf Dallas VA Medical Center, Pathology and Lab Medicine Department.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541380. The contract will be awarded as a firm fixed price contract for one base period with four optional renewal periods. The Contractor will provide genetic blood testing, an AlloSure Heart® test only offered by this reference laboratory, to determine if a heart post-transplant patient is rejecting its transplanted organ. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This type of mapping is only offered by Caredx Inc, and there are no other reference laboratory company s, who offer this specialty molecular mapping test service approved by the FDA.

Therefore, responses from other than the above sources may identify their interest and capabilities to perform the requirement by submitting it in writing via email to Ognian.Ivanov@va.gov no later than March 06, 2024, by 10:00 AM Central Standard Time. The Government will not pay for any information submitted by respondents because of this notice of intent.
