Sources Sought Notice: Lynx Panic Alarm System Upgrade. This Notice is to support Michael E. DeBakey Medical Center (MEDVAMC) in Houston, TX and its 13 Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) in the surrounding area. This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a Sources Sought notice only. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification.

36C25625Q0617 General Requirement: The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center requires the existing Lynx Duress Notification System to be upgraded and expanded to meet the needs of Police Service. This requires an upgrade to the existing hardware and infrastructure at the main facility at 2002 Holcombe Blvd, Houston, TX 77030, expansion of this hardware at designated locations, and extension of this system to its 13 Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) in the surrounding area.

Description of Requirements: The Contractor shall provide all labor, calibration, materials, parts, repairs, equipment, tools, onsite/remote monitoring, professional services, technical support, transportation, software, personnel, and travel as to complete this installation and deployment. The Contractor shall adhere to all Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) requirements and have all required access to the OEM software. Completion of the project will be determined when all components of the system are deployed and fully functional. 6. Additional information and/or comments. It is the intent of the Government to issue a competitive Single award Firm Fixed Price type solicitation after all market research has been completed. The purpose of this Sources Sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions.

The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request.
