Sources Sought The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16, Central Texas Health Care System (CTVHCS) equipment located at Overton Brooks VA Medical Center (OBVAMC) Shreveport, LA, 71101, Building 1, Engineering Service Section intends to issue a contract for the repair of Elevator #6.

Scope: The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, tools, and equipment to repair service to Elevator #6 located at building 1, Overton Brooks VA Medical Center. Provide all labor and materials to pull the comp sheaves on elevator #6, replace the existing bearings with new bearings and then reinstall. Provide labor and materials to replace the comp cables and shackles with new comp cables and shackles on refenced elevator. See DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) attached.

This PWS is only a draft and is subject to change pending the outcome of the questions asked, and as well as other updates that need to be included. Make sure you read the final PWS when the solicitation officially goes out. Location all Work to Completed: Overton Brooks VA Medical Center 510 E. Stoner Avenue Building 1 Shreveport, LA, 71101 The VA intends to solicit a contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). The VA anticipates awarding a contract on or about 07/19/2024 or sooner.

This is a Sources Sought Only. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 238290 Other Building Equipment Contractors which has a Small Business Size Standard of $22M. This Sources Sought is not a request for competitive proposals. However, in accordance with FAR 5.207 (c) (16) (ii), all responsible sources that feel they can fulfill this requirement may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the VA. Responses to this notice shall contain sufficient information to establish the interested parties bona-fide capabilities for fulfilling the requirement, and include:

Dun & Bradstreet Number, and the Taxpayer Identification Number, along with documentation that the vendor is an authorized service provider of the equipment listed. All respondents must have an active registration in the System for Award Management at www.sam.gov.

Interested Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) must be listed as verified on the SBA Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) database located at https://veterans.certify.sba.gov in order to receive contract awards under the Veterans First Contracting Program. A determination by the VA not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the VA.
