DRAFT Statement of Work 1. Contract Title: Virtual Reality (VR)

Headsets for Employee Wellness 2. Background: Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) currently utilizes virtual reality systems in our Employee Whole Health Program to support employee wellness and stress reduction. Whole Health has been using Penumbra s REAL i-Series virtual reality headsets and software for employee wellness.

The availability of this virtual reality resource promotes rapid relaxation and stress reduction, helping employees to reset and recover quickly and effectively while working in fast-paced clinical and hospital healthcare settings. This resource helps to protect against burnout and thus promotes quality Veteran care. 3. Scope. We would like to procure 20 headsets for employee wellness and stress reduction, to be deployed across various MEDVAMC work settings.

We would like to have a 1-year period of performance with the option to purchase additional headsets as needed. We will need customer support for any technical issues for one year from the date of the contract award. This technology will not interact in any way with the VA network or servers.

4. Specifications/Characteristics: Minimum technical specs must be provided to meet the requirements of the MEDVAMC: Stand-alone Penumbra REAL i-Series headset Preloaded with Penumbra s i-Series software content for wellness and cognition Does not depend on WiFi for operation Technical and IT support for one year High resolution 4K screen Wipeable facepad on the headset Head tracking interface capabilities (does not require hand controllers) to provide user accessibility for people without upper body function/stimulation Gaze-based pre-loaded apps and experiences 5.
