This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This SOURCE SOUGHT NOTICE is for the purpose of Market Research. Response to this notice will be used for information and planning purposes and issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10- Market Research, in order to conduct market research. No proposals or quotes are being requested or accepted with this notice. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.

This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation or a guarantee to issue a solicitation in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.

Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, if issued. This announcement is based on the best information available at this time and is subject to future modification. This notice shall NOT be construed as solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Responses to this notice is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.

The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification, Service Disabled/Veteran Owned Small Business. (SDVOSB/VOSB), HUBZone, 8(a), small, small disadvantage, woman owned small business, or large business) relative to NAICS 561710, Exterminating and Pest Control Services, with a small business size standard of $15.5 Million. The Product Service Code (PSC) is F105, Environmental Systems Protection- Pesticides Support.

Requirement: Formosan Termite Treatment For a 1-year Period of Performance for services. Please read attached Statement of Work for details. The main Technical Acceptability factor is the that chemicals shall remain active in soil for 7 (seven) years. Responses must be received by no later than 13:00 a.m. Central Standard Time, Friday, March 15, 2024. Responses shall be emailed to Christopher.Rossi2@va.gov Capabilities Statements to include UEI number. Facsimile or Telephonic responses will not be accepted.
