NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department Of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15 intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to JOHN FABICK TRACTOR CO located at 1 Fabrick Drive, Fenton MO 63026-2928.

JOHN FABICK TRACTOR CO will a new One-Time Radiator Repair & Generator Rental Service for the Marion VA Medical Center which meets the minimum technical specifications as stated in the Scope of Work (SOW). This will be a firm-fixed price contract. The place of performance is for the Marion VA Medical Center. The Marion VA Medical Center located at 2401 West Main Street, Marion IL 62959-1188. The NAICS code is 811310 with a size standard of $12.5 Million. The solicitation number is 36C25526Q0579.

This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract with 120 days from the date of award for a one-time service. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement NLT 7 August 2026 at 11:59 PM CST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services.

A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. If after 7 August 2026, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, Department of Veterans Affairs shall negotiate solely with JOHN FABICK TRACTOR CO. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted.
