These questions and corresponding answers are provided for clarification purposes only and do not revise or otherwise change the requirements unless explicitly stated within this amendment. Can the VA identify the specific type/model of fusible links currently installed on those dampers?

A: Please see attached pictures for reference If that information is not readily available, would it be possible to provide several clear photographs of the existing fusible links from different angles?

A: Photos are attached If the existing components are ETL-type fusible links, please clarify whether the intended scope is to replace all such links or only those found to be rusted, damaged, defective, or otherwise requiring replacement.

A: ETL- type are not to be replaced unless requiring replacement per NFPA and manufacturer specifications (rusted, damaged, defective, etc.) Can the VA provide existing drawings of the buildings if available?

A: Existing drawings will be provided to the awardee. These drawings include several buildings in accordance with the PWS and identify smoke damper locations. However, this is not an all-inclusive list as there are smoke dampers that have yet to be identified within the buildings mentioned in the PWS. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. The RFQ response date remains unchanged.
