The Great Lakes Acquisition Center, on behalf of the Oscar G. Johnson Veterans Affairs Medical Center (Iron Mountain VAMC), intends to negotiate a sole source contract extension with Advance Imaging Management, LLC (AIM), League City, TX. The extension period of performance will be October 1, 2024 through November 30, 2024. Contractor shall provide all management, labor, supplies, tools, equipment (including a mobile trailer/unit) necessary to perform mobile MRI Services at the Iron Mountain VAMC.

Services shall also include maintenance and repair of all Contractor furnished equipment (including the mobile trailer/scanner). Services shall be provided a minimum of ten (10) hours per day, every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, excluding federal holidays. To the best of our knowledge, AIM is the only company that is able to provide these services to the Iron Mountain VAMC within the needed timeframe.

AIM has qualified MRI Technologists who are currently credentialed at the Iron Mountain VAMC and have an adjudicated National Agency Check and Inquires (NACI) Background Investigation. The authority permitting other than full and open competition for this contract extension is 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) Only one responsible source and no other supplies/services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS code for this requirement is 621512. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes.

No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it is capable of performing these services, the following information must be provided to the Contracting Officer for consideration: CV/Resume of proposed MRI Technologists Copies of providers licenses and any certifications (BLS) Description of the company s background and capability to perform the required services. Price Per Scan.

This information must be submitted via email to becky.cincotta@va.gov by 1:00 p.m. Central Time, Wednesday, September 25, 2024. Supporting documentation must be furnished with sufficient detail to demonstrate the contractor s ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses received will be reviewed; however, a determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition, based upon responses received, is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the GLAC will proceed with the sole source contract extension with AIM.
