36C25026Q0956 SPECIAL NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Script Pro Upgrade - Columbus The Department of Veterans Affairs, The Chalmers P. Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center, Columbus OH, 420 N. James Road, Columbus, Ohio 43219 intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with ScriptPro USA Inc, 5828 Reeds Road, Mission Kansas, 66202-2740. This purchase is direct with ScriptPro USA Inc. VA Central Ohio Healthcare System Pharmacy currently operates the ScriptPro Work Management System. Software and Hardware upgrades to ScriptPro are proprietary and must be brand-specific in order to be compatible with the existing robotic filling cabinets.
The market research team concludes that only the identified equipment is sufficient to meet the agency s requirements, including regulatory and patient safety initiatives. From research and vendor discussion Central Ohio VA Health Care System Pharmacy is unaware of any third party or resellers that offer ScriptPro equipment and service contracts. The Government believes that only ScriptPro USA Inc. can satisfy the agency s requirement.
We intend to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
Other people may identify their interest and capability by responding to this requirement by Tuesday, September 1, 2026, by 5PM EST. Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Brief Description of Supplies/ Services required and the intended use/Estimated Amount: The Script Pro Work Management system is an electronic system designed to enhance the full pharmacy workflow from prescription order entry to dispensing, while integrating with electronic health records (EHR)It supports both robotically filled prescriptions and manual fills, with barcode tracking, GS1 2D datamatrix labels, and automated drug utilization review (DUR) to ensure safety.
The upgraded system will improve patient safety with new functionality, as well as improve pharmacist efficiency with new software capabilities. Conversion kit includes updated operating system, camera installation and image storage from the robotic cabinets, and filling station hardware refreshes. The acquisition also includes a year of support. Dispensing systems are ubiquitous across healthcare facilities. While there are several product lines available on the market, each system contains proprietary technology.
