Louis Stokes Cleveland Description: The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10, intends to award a firm fixed price Purchase Order under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) - FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to Cepheid, 904 East Caribbean Drive, Sunnyvale, CA 94089 on a sole source basis to supply Cepheid GeneXpert to the Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, 10701 East Boulevard, Cleveland, Ohio 44106 This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement not later than May 14, 2026, at 9:00 AM EST, to Robert.Blasko@va.gov.

When responding to this announcement, respondents should reference 36C25026P0651, Cepheid GeneXpert in the subject line. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required supplies/services. Responding as an interested party under the www.sam.gov website does not constitute convincing evidence of capabilities.

A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal and facsimile responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. All interested parties are reminded to be registered with System for Award Management (SAM) at https://sam.gov/SAM/ in order to be eligible for award of Government contracts. No telephone calls will be accepted.

No reimbursement for any costs associated with providing a response to this announcement will be provided by the Government. If after May 14, 2026 @ 9:00 AM, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, NCO 10 shall negotiate solely with Cepheid.

The following items are required for this action: Cepheid Xpert GI Panel INF Upgrade FL IP Infinity 10C 8-Pack only Infready Infinity 10C Kit, upgrade, install panel Delivery and Installation of equipment in the Microbiology Section of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service at the Louis Stokes Cleveland DVAMC. Training in the use of installed modules.
