Special Notice Special Notice Page 2 of 2 Special Notice *= Required Field Special Notice Page 1 of 2 NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Regional Procurement Office East (RPOC), Network Contracting Office 10 (NCO 10) intends to award a sole source contract in accordance with VAAR 819.7007 with NetSmart Technologies, Inc., 11100 Nall Ave., Overland Park, KS 66211, USA.

The VISN 10 Pharmacy requires a Contractor to provide personnel to complete the task of providing full support and maintenance service for the Methasoft software which facilitates care and tracks methadone/opioid substitution medications in the clinics, as well as maintains records in accordance with regulations regarding controlled opioid substitution treatments. Methasoft software is currently in use in the following facilities: Cincinnati VAMC, Cleveland VAMC, Dayton VAMC, Detroit VAMC, and Indianapolis VAMC.

Contractor is to provide comprehensive technical support via email, telephone, and remote assistance 24/7, 365 days per calendar year. Any requests that would result in additional fees must be reported to the Contracting Officer s Representative (COR). Maintenance and support should also include any required or optional software updates/upgrades.

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any responsible firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification and capability statements prior to the response due date and time. Vendors shall indicate if they are the direct supplier of the items.

Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements and must include relevant corporate experience along with the applicable contract number, total contract dollar amount, contract period of performance, details of the relevant services and customer point of contact with corresponding telephone number and email address.

Response received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information provided will not be returned. Responses are due by Friday, January 10, 2025, at 1:00 PM (ET).
