Estimated Cost: $17,308.00 Unique characteristics that limit availability to brand name only sources, with the reason no other supplies or services can be used: This is a Brand Name Only request for Manoscan Anorectal Catheter. This AR catheter is needed to be used with the current ManoScan System, EM Z WS in use at the Cleveland VA Medical Center. There are no other compatible catheters that can be used with this equipment.

Description of market research conducted and results or statement why it was not conducted: Market Research was conducted beginning with VetCert, which identified 663 potential vendors. In addition, Contract Opportunities, DSBS, eCMS, FPDS, GSA, NAC, SAM, email, google and SCMC were all searched, which identified one large business that has been providing these catheters. However, the OEM (Medtronic) was contacted and requested any SB vendors that could provide this equipment. The OEM provided 3 SDVOSB vendors that were available to provide these products. The OEM also confirmed that the items are only available on the Open Market.
